How to Install Windows on SkullSaints Mini PC (Using Official ISO)

This guide explains everything step-by-step, from creating a bootable USB to completing Windows installation on your SkullSaints Mini PC.

Uses the official Windows ISO we provide

What You Need Before Starting

• Windows ISO downloaded from:
  SkullSaints Mini PC ISO File

• USB drive (minimum 16GB)

• Another working Windows PC or laptop

• SkullSaints Mini PC connected to power

• Keyboard + mouse + display

STEP 1: Create Bootable Windows USB (Using Rufus)

We will use Rufus, the most reliable tool for ISO files.

Download Rufus

• Visit: https://rufus.ie

• Download Rufus (Portable)

Open Rufus & Select ISO

1. Insert USB drive

2. Right-click rufus.exe → Run as Administrator

3. Click SELECT

4. Choose the Windows ISO you downloaded

Set options exactly as below:

• Partition scheme: GPT

• Target system: UEFI (non-CSM)

• File system: NTFS

Click START → Confirm → Wait till READY

STEP 2: Enter BIOS on SkullSaints Mini PC

1. Insert the bootable USB into Mini PC

2. Power ON

3. Immediately press DEL key repeatedly

You will enter BIOS / UEFI menu.

STEP 3: Set USB as Boot Device

Inside BIOS:

• Go to Boot

• Set USB drive as Boot Priority #1

• Press F10 → Save & Exit

System will reboot and load Windows installer.

STEP 4: Start Windows Installation

When Windows setup appears:

1. Language to install:
   Choose your preferred language (e.g., English (United States))

2. Time & currency format:
   Choose your local format (e.g., India)

3. Keyboard layout:
   Choose your keyboard type (e.g., US)

4. Click Next

5. Click Install now

STEP 5: Choose Installation Type (IMPORTANT)

For a clean install, always choose:

Custom: Install Windows only (advanced)

This option allows you to delete old partitions and install fresh Windows.

STEP 6: Delete Old Partitions & Select Drive

You will now see Where do you want to install Windows?

For a clean installation:

1. Select each existing partition

2. Click Delete

3. Repeat until only Unallocated Space remains

4. Select Unallocated Space

5. Click Next

Windows 11 Pro will automatically create required partitions (EFI, MSR, Recovery).

STEP 7: Windows 11 Installation in Progress

Windows will now:

• Copy files

• Install features

• Restart automatically (multiple times)

Do NOT remove the USB during this process.

STEP 10: Windows 11 First-Time Setup (OOBE)

After installation, Windows 11 Pro setup begins:

1. Select Region

2. Select Keyboard layout

3. Connect to Wi-Fi / Ethernet

4. Sign in with Microsoft account
   (Local account option available)
