Case File #005 CoreX 4800H and Panther Amazon Double Fraud

Product 1 - SkullSaints CoreX 4800H (16GB RAM + 512GB SSD)

Product 2 - SkullSaints Panther (16GB RAM + 512GB SSD)

Evidence - CoreX internals replaced with batteries; Panther unit completely missing from box

Reported Symptom - Devices missing or dead on arrival

The Discovery

Our technical team recently processed two separate returns from Amazon that highlight the extreme range of fulfillment fraud. The first unit, a high-performance CoreX 4800H, was returned with its entire internal motherboard and premium components stripped. The second unit, a Panther mini PC, arrived as a completely empty box with only the power cables remaining.

The Double Scam Explained

These cases represent two different tactics used to exploit Amazon logistics:

  • The Weight Manipulation (CoreX): To bypass automated warehouse scales, the fraudster filled the CoreX chassis with large lithium batteries secured by hot glue. This ensures the box feels “correct” during transit even though the high-value Ryzen 7 internals have been stolen.

  • The Empty Box (Panther): In this instance, the main Panther unit was simply removed entirely, leaving only the mounting bracket and cables. This is a blatant theft that often results in the next customer receiving a literal empty box.

Mandatory Action: Record Your Unboxing

To protect yourself from receiving empty boxes or junk hardware, we advise all users to record a full unboxing video every time you receive goods.

  • Start the video by showing the shipping label and the intact seals.

  • Use one continuous shot. Do not pause or edit the video until you have verified the physical presence of the unit and opened the chassis to check the internals.

  • This video is your only definitive proof if you receive a box filled with scrap or find the main product missing.

The Integrity of Direct Orders

These specific item-switching and “hollowed-out” issues do not happen with direct orders placed via electroniksindia.com. When you order through our website, we ensure that your unit is pulled from a “Clean Inventory” pool that is strictly isolated from marketplace return cycles. This ensures that the components inside your machine are exactly what were installed during our final QC, with zero risk of receiving a unit that has been tampered with by a previous scammer.
